Meet Zach Shelly

I've spent most of my adult life in construction. Renovations, new construction, commercial projects, I've worked across all of it. After a few years managing projects for other builders, I saw the same problem show up again and again: efficiency wasn't a priority. That cost everybody, especially the client, time and money they didn't need to lose. I started this business to fix that, building a process where communication between client and contractor, and contractor and subs, actually works the way it should.

That commitment to efficiency hasn't changed. What's grown is how far I think it should go.

The more I've built, the more obsessed I've gotten with building science, and how well a home can actually perform when it's designed right. Most homes get built for how they look, not how they perform. That's part of why our power grid keeps consuming more energy every year, and why so many homes aren't built to last much past a generation.

I made it my commitment to build homes that outlast their occupants. Comfortable, healthy, and energy efficient for as long as they stand. That's why I got my CPHC, Certified Passive House Consultant, and why this business has moved firmly toward high-performance home building. Not as an added service, as the standard every project gets built to now.
