At FS Builders, design and construction happen under one roof, with one team, so the decisions made early in the design phase are informed by the people who are actually going to build it. That process efficiency is what keeps projects on time, on budget, and on track.

We're just as serious about how the home performs after you move in. We build with high-performance building science principles on every project because we believe homes should do more than meet code. They should be comfortable, healthy, and cheap to run. Better air quality, consistent temperatures, and dramatically lower energy bills aren't upgrades — they're what a well-built home should deliver as a baseline.

We earned our CPHC, Certified Passive House Consultant, so we could take that commitment all the way to certified Passive House construction, consulting on our own designs and building high-performance homes entirely in-house. We see the energy performance of homes as a real problem worth solving, and this is how we're solving it, one build at a time.

     Before we break ground we lock in project specifics and material selections, then build a high-detail estimate by bidding everything out to our vendors and subs based on exactly what the project calls for. Because we operate on a cost-plus fixed fee model, you see the real numbers, not a padded lump sum.
